Vaka Hop’e is on land

The Vaka Hop’e has been put up on dry ground! With the help of our frinds in Kekehe and Matthew from Australia, we were able to take the boat up on shore using a home made trolley. We built a shed, using our two 40-foot containers as walls and saego palm leaves as roof. A tremendeous amount of work was done to ensure that the Vaka Hop’e will be resting safely. The plan is to launch again once the cyclone season is over in May 2025.
