YWAM Solomon Islands is located close to the capital City Honiara. We aim to be self sustainable as a model for other Communities. On our farm we plant our own food, for electricity we have a Solar system and our own well for water.
Our Vision is to see young people of Solomon Islands to know their purpose in life and to see them prosper in every aspect of life.
In the entry level school of the University of the Nation (UofN) called DTS (Discipleship training School)
we help young people to find their purpose in life, help them to develop their unique character and how to deal with their attitudes. In further modules, we equip the Students in community live relevant skills such as clean Water technologies, renewable energy such as Biogas and Solar energy, agriculture, fish farming aquaculture, waste management, construction and so on.
With those trainings we equip the students to share the Gospel and to help in their own or in communities in other nations.
